Exercising.
Regular exercise is important to help maintain mobility and strength. It should be done without pain and it should be done regularly. Brisk walking, cycling and swimming are all excellent exercises.
Warm Up
You should warm up your body before any physical activity, whether that be sports, gardening or DIY around the house. This helps prepare the body for action and helps prevent any injuries occurring.
Cooling down
Cooling down and stretching after exercise or physical activity is just as important as a warm up. Pain is a warning sign. If what you are doing hurts - STOP. Don't try to push through the pain.
