The Treatments.
1st Treatment.
Your initial consultation will last around 1 hour 30 minutes (1 hour without the treatment), in this time a full case history will be taken to establish your general health. The whole body will then be examined with the aid of neurological and orthopedic test which will help us come up with a diagnosis.
If your chiropractor discovers a condition that requires further medical investigation or an x-ray then they will refer you back to your GP
Treatment plan.
Once it is deemed safe to treat we will discuss and then agree on a treatment plan.
The number of sessions needed vary from patient to patient and also the following factors need to be taken into consideration:-
- Your age, you generally heal more slowly as you get older
- The nature of the problem
- How long you have had the problem, generally an injury sustained yesterday will heal a lot quicker than an injury that occurred 20 years ago.
